# UDS - Universal Desktop Service

Unfortunately, students cannot mount the shared disk on their own PC even with the UCL wifi network.
```

But you can use [UDS](https://intranet.uclouvain.be/fr/myucl/services-informatiques/uds-universal-desktop-service-0.html) - *Universal Desktop Service*.

From UDS, you will be able to access the shared disk. But first you must mount the disk on your session: 

1. Open : "Explorateur de fichiers"

2. On "ordinateur" tab, click on "Connecter un lecteur réseau"

3. On "lecteur", choose : "X:" (if X: is already used, you can choose another letter)

4. On "dossier", type :
    ```sh
    \\oasis.uclouvain.be\dfs\groups\n\nbdid-sst-lbrat2104
    ```

5. Click on "Terminer"

You can now see and navigate through the shared disk !
